What Is Certification Zone?

Certification Zone is the online study destination to prepare for Cisco®'s CCNA™, CCNP™, CCVP™, and CCIE™ certification exams as well as the respected source for success-proven internetworking strategies and advice. Certification Zone, one of the first sites dedicated to pursuit of Cisco certifications, was established in 1999.

Unlike most exam preparation and networking information resources, a continuously expanding team of Cisco certified and industry experts has developed Certification Zone's outstanding array of study and networking resources. These study tools are designed to help professionals learn more about networking, solve real-world networking problems, and score higher on Cisco's CCNA, CCNP, CCVP, and CCIE exams.

Certification Zone features Tutorials, Study Quizzes, Lab Scenarios, Practice Exams and other study materials that help professionals understand the technical concepts found on Cisco's certification exams and in real-world networking situations. Thousands of networking professionals and businesses choose Certification Zone for its top quality study tools and networking information written by our industry experts.

What Is Certification Zone's Study and Learning Model?

Certification Zone's employs a streamlined and integrated Tutorial - Quiz - Lab Scenario - Practice Exam learning model for Cisco's CCNA, CCNP, CCVP, and CCIE certification exams. The first step is to read a Tutorial, which explains a Cisco networking topic in detail. The second step is to assess understanding of the topic addressed in the Tutorial with a short Study Quiz. The Quiz will determine understanding of the networking topic and also explain incorrect answers. The third step is to apply understanding of the topic in the Tutorial to a simulated Lab Scenario, which will solidify learning. Once all the Tutorial topics have been thoroughly reviewed and applied, then the final step is to take a Practice Exam, which ties all the Cisco networking topics together and determines exam readiness.

Note: As of December 1, 2005, Certification Zone has completed all of the Study Guides necessary to prepare for three of the five exams that must be passed to earn Cisco's CCVP certification. Each of these Study Guides includes a Study Quiz that can be used to prepare for the corresponding exam. Once we have completed developing the Study Guides for the final two exams in the CCVP series, it is our intention to also create new Practice Exams for this certification.

An integral part of Certification Zone's learning model is outstanding content written by outstanding people who are experts in the topics they write about. In fact, no other certification preparation material offers the range of expertise that Certification Zone's authors possess.

Who Authors Certification Zone's Products?

Certification Zone's authors are highly knowledgeable networking professionals who deal with the networking topics and issues that they write about on a daily basis.
