Prof. Raj M. Manglik

Prof Manglik is Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the Department of Mechanical, Industrial, and Nuclear Engineering at the University of Cincinnati. He is also the Director of the Thermal Fluids and Thermal Processing Laboratory there. He has a Ph.D. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in mechanical engineering, has taught extensively at the graduate level in the area of heat transfer (conduction, convection, and radiation), fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, experimental methods, computational methods and heat exchanger design. In addition to his academic career, Prof, Manglik has had many years of experience working with a variety of industrial concerns to design impulse steam turbines, surface condensers, turbine blades/nozzles, heat exchangers, and flow control devices. He has also worked extensively in research and as a consultant for various engineering projects.
