Certification Zone Study Guides by Rita Puzmanova:

RIP

Rita Puzmanova is an independent networking specialist, writer, course developer and trainer. Rita has worked independently with two exceptions: working at ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute in Sophia Antipolis, a.k.a. French Silicon Valley) and telecommuting at Cisco Gold Partner systems integrator.

As a former Certified Cisco Systems Instructor (1994-1999), she trained the European technical audience. She has developed her own internetworking courses and has also become involved in on-line web education with her own TCP/IP course offered via University of California, Los Angeles.

Rita holds an MBA from the University of Calgary, an M.Sc. in systems engineering (Prague), and a Ph.D. in telecommunications (Prague-Madrid).

Rita has published numerous technical articles and several books. The most recent book is "Routing and Switching: Time of Convergence?", published by Addison Wesley.

Rita is multilingual, having lived in many countries (all populated continents but Australia). She is also interested in non-technical issues such as creative thinking and holds an Edward de Bono certificate on General Thinking Skills. Rita's passion are her Cats: Landy, Bubu, Dolfi, Shimon, Mateesek, Koralek, Puk, Vlchek. Besides bringing her pleasure, they've helped her become knowledgeable in veterinary science and art.

Interior Redistribution

RIP

John Neiberger is a WAN Systems Analyst for a bank based in Denver, Colorado. His background is primarily in routing and switching within an enterprise environment including IP, IPX, and SNA over a hundred-node frame relay network, with a little ISDN, DSL, and ATM thrown in. John was an Operations Supervisor at a branch of a bank before he decided to dive back into a computer-related field. Over the last four years he has attained the CCNP and CCDP certifications and is working toward CCIE.

John is married and has a two-month-old son who has turned out to be quite a distraction from studying. John's primary focus now is finding time to sleep.
