Network Management

"Network Management" means different things to different people in the field. To some, it's fine-tuning network, but to others, it is protecting the network from abuse from external threats and well-meaning legitimate users.

This Study Guide focuses heavily on access lists, but it also addresses how you can monitor and manage telnet sessions, and enable the use of DNS to allow name resolution for your routers. These three tools help you in two ways: managing and securing the traffic flow on your network.
